Gilda Radner Best 'Saturday Night Live' Skits: Comedian Remembered On 'SNL' 40th Anniversary [VIDEOS]
The “Saturday Night Live” 40th anniversary special Sunday paid tribute to all of the cast and crew who passed away over the years. Included was one of the original “not ready for primetime players,” Gilda Radner, who died in 1989 at the age of 42 from ovarian cancer.
As we saw earlier in the evening, her indelible mark on the SNL legacy is alive and well with Emma Stone’s recreation of Radner’s Weekend Update character Roseanne Roseannadanna.
