‘Girl Meets World’ Angela And Shawn Episode: When And Where To Watch The Reunion On Friday, June 19

It’s finally happening, “Boy Meets World” fans … Shawn (Rider Strong) and Angela (Trina McGee) are reuniting on “Girl Meets World.” The two characters split in 2000 before the series finale of the beloved sitcom, however they’ll come face-to-face in the Disney spinoff, “Girl Meets World.”

Set your alarm because you won’t want to miss episode 9 of Season 2. The episode, titled “Girl Meets Hurricane,” will air on Disney on Friday, June 19 at 8:30 p.m. EDT.

According to the synopsis, Cory (Ben Savage) and Shawn will take Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) out for a “fun night.” Shawn and Maya will continue to bond … but a blast from Shawn’s past “risks ruining everything.” It’s safe to assume that the “blast from Shawn’s past” is none other than his ex-girlfriend Angela. So, needless to say, Angela’s arrival will impact Maya, whose mom has been growing closer to Shawn.

Shawn and Angela shippers have been rooting for the couple to get together for years. But just because the characters are finally reuniting onscreen, doesn’t mean that they’ll get their happy ending. “Boy Meets World” and “Girl Meets World” creator Michael Jacobs revealed to the International Business Times at the 2015 ATX Television Festival that fans might not be thrilled with the outcome.

“There is going to be a full-scale audience rebellion,” he teased. “We had to make a choice – Are we writing this real like we always did?”
