“Girl Meets World” may be adding one more “Boy Meets World” cast member. The new Disney spinoff series is currently looking for a cousin for lead Riley -- so who’s the cousin’s daddy?!

The casting news comes courtesy of TVLine, which teases that Will Friedle could be returning as Eric Matthews, the older brother of Cory Matthews. According to the site, “Girl Meets World” is “casting a cousin for new leading tween Riley, and the smart money is on Cory’s big brother Eric being the parent.”

Friedle and former co-star Rider Strong were photographed on the “Girl Meets World” set in March, but unfortunately Friedle’s return is not confirmed. However, executive producer Michael Jacobs did tell Entertainment Weekly that he thinks “there’s more than a chance” of the two appearing in the spinoff. “I think there’s a strong chance,” Jacobs dished.

It’s also possible Riley’s cousin could have different parents, like …

Morgan -- Morgan was Cory’s and Eric’s younger sister. Initially played by Lily Nicksay for 35 episodes, the role of Morgan was then recast with a slightly older actress, Lindsay Ridgeway.

Nebula -- Remember Nebula? Neither do we. However, she did exist as Topanga’s mysterious (and eventually phantom) sister. Actress Krystee Clark (who hasn’t starred in anything since 2007, according to IMDB) played Topanga’s sister Nebula in a 1994 episode called “She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not.” Fans did not see Nebula again until Clark returned to the series under the name of Valerie in a 1995 episode called “Wrong Side Of The Tracks.”

Joshua -- It’s easy for “Boy Meet World” viewers to forget about Joshua, who is the youngest member of the Matthews family -- and although he was very young when the show ended, “Girl Meets World” does imply a large time jump.

Shawn -- Strong’s Shawn Hunter might not be related to Cory by blood, but we’d be shocked if Cory’s and Topanga’s kids didn’t call him “Uncle Shawn.”

In June, “Girl Meets World” was ordered to series with a premiere date set for 2014. The new Disney show will follow Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), the tween daughter of childhood sweethearts Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel). The series will follow Riley and her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) as they “embark on an unforgettable middle school experience.” Savage will reprise his role as Cory, who has now become a history teacher, and Fishel will reprise her role as Topanga, who is now the owner of a “trendy afterschool hangout that specializes in pudding.”
