‘Girls’ Star Lena Dunham Shares New Details About Hannah’s Son Grover
“Girls” lead star Lena Dunham recently shared one detail about her character Hannah’s son, Grover.
While speaking with TV Line, the executive producer and series director was asked whether or not Grover has a middle name. Surprisingly, even though it wasn’t mentioned in the series finale, Dunham said that Grover’s second name is Theo. Unfortunately, the actress did not explain the reason behind the name choice.

“Girls” Season 6 aired its final episode on Sunday, April 16, and it saw Hannah raising her son with the help of her mom, Loreen (Becky Ann Baker), and best friend, Marnie (Allison Williams). Hannah also struggled with breastfeeding in the episode and was stressed out after Marnie urged her to stick with breastfeeding alone. But in the end, Grover was fed formula, and he absolutely loved it.
Following the series finale, Dunham was spotted at the annual H.E.A.R.T. Brunch with Stella McCartney in Los Angeles. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the event served as a fundraiser and shopping event for the sixth year in a row to help support the largest child abuse clinic in the United States. The event was also attended by Maria Shriver, Julie Bowen, Erin Foster, Kate and Jessica Capshaw, Jenni Kayne, Anita Ko and more.
While speaking with the publication, McCartney shared that she and her daughters visited the Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. “It’s a great place, and it gives you a lot of hope. It’s devastating this is the biggest year in need for the center. But at the same time, there is so much love in the building, and that’s the first thing that’s needed when people go there,” she said.
