Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady made an appearance at the Met Gala on Monday night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The gorgeous couple had photographers' tongues wagging as they glided down the red carpet looking absolutely ravishing.

Despite the blinding beauty of the pair, some took note of other aspects of Gisele's and Tom's Met Gala appearances.

The 31-year-old Brazilian supermodel pulled an Angelina Jolie in her sparkling black Givenchy gown with a thigh-high slit, decked out in David Yurman jewelry. Bundchen made sure that, when posing for the photographers, her right leg was in full view.

Fashion bloggers immediately compared Gisele's pose to Jolie's pose from the 2012 Oscars. Angelina Jolie's right leg proved to be the star of this year's Oscars, after it appeared out from under her lush velvet Atelier Versace gown. The stance made waves on the Internet and quickly spawned its own meme and Twitter handle.

But, according to the fashion world, Gisele Bundchen has a leg up on the competition.

Other buzz surrounding the Victoria's Secret alum and her footballer hubby focused on said hubby's new haircut.

Tom Brady flaunted a decidedly different hairdo at the Met Gala on Monday night - a slicked semi-faux hawk with shaved sides, parted slightly to the right.

And even his dashing good looks could not fend off the critics.

Last night at the Met Gala in NYC, Tom -- alongside Gisele Bundchen -- debuted a monstrosity of a 'do we're dubbing the POMPA-HAWK (half pompadour, half mohawk)! TMZ posted on Tuesday. We're guessing Gisele is the evil genius behind the pompa-hawk, which is fitting ... because you'd have to have Gisele on your arm, and Tom's face to even attempt this hairstyle.

Business Insider critiqued: We're not sure how to describe it. Is it a a faux-hawk with attitude? Is it a dorsal fin? Is it the only hairstyle in the world David Beckham hasn't tried yet? Or did he pay somebody $1,000 to use a Flowbee on his head?

Brady has been known to change up his hairstyle, sometimes dramatically so.

I just like to change it up, Brady, 34, has said in the past. I don't take it too seriously.

Gisele always stands by her man's style choices. She has previously said [His hair is] his choice. He can do whatever he wants because I'll love it no matter what. Short, long, red, whatever! It's all good!
