Gisele Bündchen-Tom Brady Update: Couple Ignores Divorce Rumors, Model Posts New Instagram Photo
Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen and her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, continue to ignore divorce rumors after the tabloid OK! magazine claimed they heading towards a divorce last week.
Though the NFL star isn’t active on social media, Bündchen continues to post online about her other family members. After she wished her younger sister a happy birthday on Instagram Friday, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel shared an update on Benjamin, her son, Sunday.
“My little Benny planted his first tree! #proudmamma,” she captioned her Instagram image. The post received nearly 170,000 likes from her 6 million followers. It also garnered hundreds of comments from fans who thought the picture was cute. Benjamin wore a shirt that read “respect your mother” and then watered a newly planted tree.
His face was not shown in the image, which is standard for most of Bündchen’s posts. Although she will share photos of her children, Ben and Vivian Lake, they usually only show the back of their heads. Occasionally she’ll show the sides of their faces.
Although the Brazilian star is active on social media, it could all be a façade. Although she and Brady have not issued a statement about their reputed relationship woes, she is posting on social media to make everything seem like their marriage is fine.
“Gisele is ramping up the social media activity because her marriage is breaking down,” an insider told OK! magazine.
Brady recently turned 38, but his celebration wasn’t without drama. "We're hearing that they're bickering nonstop lately. And really, the drama kind of reached a head at Tom's birthday dinner. Allegedly, Gisele stormed out [because] she was so angry,” Wonderwall’s Jessica Wedemeyer added on Entertainment Tonight Thursday.
Relationship rumors aren’t the only thing troubling Brady. The star quarterback appeared in court last week to appeal his NFL suspension for the “Deflategate” scandal.
