‘Glee’ Actor Mark Salling Reportedly Arrested For Child Pornography Possession
UPDATE: 2:41 p.m. EST – More details from TMZ reveal that an ex-girlfriend of Salling’s may have tipped off police. The website also states the children photographed are “significantly younger than 15 and 16 year olds.”
Original Story:
“Glee” star Mark Salling was arrested in Los Angeles Tuesday. The actor allegedly possessed child pornography.
Crime Watch Daily reports that the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit issued a search warrant for Salling’s residence in Sunland, California, early Tuesday morning. He was arrested shortly after authorities searched his computer and “found hundreds of images,” TMZ reports.
Salling, 33, is a musician, but he is most well-known for his role on “Glee.” He played bad boy Noah “Puck” Puckerman on Fox’s musical comedy for six seasons. However, Salling’s real-life trouble with the law has been much more serious than Puck’s delinquent behavior.
Earlier this year, Salling settled a lawsuit with Roxanne Gorzela. The former playboy model dropped sexual battery charges against Salling, but the actor admitted to “negligently causing her to fall and injure herself,” TMZ reported at the time. Salling was ordered to pay the Gorzela $2.7 milllion.
