'Goliath' Star Billy Bob Thornton Looking For Career Best Performance

While the fans wait for “Goliath” Season 4 announcement, cast member Billy Bob Thornton is also preparing to take on new challenges. The actor has already achieved a lot in his acting career, but instead of sitting on past laurels, he is looking forward to new challenges to deliver his best performance on screen.

Thornton, who plays the lawyer Billy McBride, spoke about the show and the future in a recent interview with ABC News. The actor shared some insights about his character, and talked about how much fun he is having on the set while playing this role.

After playing the role of the lawyer for some time now, Thornton joked that he has become so comfortable with it that he sometimes thinks about getting out of a ticket by assuming the role in real life. The actor also has some props from the show like the Billy McBride, Attorney at Law business cards if he wanted to play the character in real life.

With “Goliath” Season 4 announcement expected anytime now, Thornton pointed out how important it is to “keep your dreams alive” because it greatly affects the quality of the work. “Once you stop dreaming, you're done in this business,” Thornton said.

What is Thornton’s dream? The actor hopes the show will do well this year. He is now looking forward to creating something of his own for Amazon, by writing something for the studio, and he hopes he can star in a movie that will help him deliver his career best performance.

As far as the TV series is concerned, the actor teased the possibility of his return in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. After the events in the Season 3 finale, if the character returns one more time; it will be a “rebirth” for him.

Thornton is confident that he will get to reprise his role one more time. He previously said that the announcement about “Goliath” Season 4 should be made soon.
