'GOT' Season 7 Spoilers: Latest Fan Theories Tease Lady Stoneheart & More

Season 7 of "Game of Thrones" hasn't been disappointing fans with everything that has played out thus far, and with likely less than 10 episodes left of the entire series, things are likely to only get even more intense going forward.

Despite only starting a few weeks ago, there are only three episodes left in Season 7, and another six will premiere during Season 8, which has been confirmed as the final chapter for the hit HBO series. With more than a few key characters left in Westeros and vying for power, and still some big predicted events to come, fans have been actively promoting their theories for what may still happen.

Here are the latest theories fans have proposed for action still to come in both the remainder of Season 7, as well as Season 8:

Lady Stoneheart Is Possibly Still Making An Appearance

During episode 4, when Arya (Maisie Williams) challenged Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) to a duel in the courtyard of Winterfell, she reminded her protector that she had sworn an oath to her deceased mother, Catelyn (Michelle Fairley), that she would protect both her and Sansa (Sophie Turner). Redditor GrennsGal pointed out that as that scene played out, the figure of a woman appeared in the background who resembled Cat. The user said it could be a nod to the undead character, Lady Stoneheart, that she became in the novels.

Though it has previously been confirmed that Lady Stoneheart isn't going to be on the show, and Arya's storyline as an assassin has taken it over, fans are hopeful that the mysterious woman in the background is in fact a nod to the character, and one who could occasionally appear going forward in some capacity.

Daenerys Could Be Betrayed A Third And Final Time

Back in the House of the Undying when she was in Qarth, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) was told she would be betrayed three times. She was betrayed on the show for blood when Mirri Maz Duur (Mia Soteriou) killed her unborn son to save Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa). She was betrayed for gold when Jorah (Iain Glen) sent secrets and news about her to King Robert. She has yet to betrayed for love, and after Episode 4, there is speculation of who could betray Dany from within her own council.

Many suspect it could be Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), who as he watched the Loot Train Battle, expressed dismay when he saw he brother Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) charging at Dany and Drogon. He muttered that he hoped his brother, the only person alive who Tyrion would still profess to love, and whom he owes his own life to, would survive. Fans believed that Tyrion could, if Jaime survives his apparent drowning and is imprisoned by Dany, betray Dany by "paying his debt" to his brother and returning the favor to set him free. Furthermore, as Esquire points out, if the theory that Tyrion is secretly a Targaryen is also true and needs to be proven, his punishment for betraying Dany could prove it.

However, some also believe that Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) could be the one who betrays her for a much more literal expression of love. Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) has been stranded at Casterly Rock and could be in danger. If he is killed because of Dany's attempts to take the Iron Throne, Missandei could betray her because the man she loves was sacrificed along the journey.

Cersei's Critical Mistake

Cersei (Lena Headey) may have thought paying off the Lannister debt to the Iron Bank was a smart move that guaranteed them financing her fight for the Throne and her right to the title. However, Reddit user FellatioNelson pointed out that she's known for making short term decisions that don't pay off for her in the long run, and without realizing it, she's done that once again.

"Tycho Nestoris of the Iron Bank said some very revealing things this episode. One was that the Bank does not bet on winners and losers, it instead invests in the chosen victor," he writes. "He also says the bank will support the Iron Throne once their debt is paid, not necessarily the current Queen, but whoever is on the throne. Second he appears to be flattering her by saying Tywin never paid his debt in full and she is really outshining her father by doing so."

"By paying the debt in full Cersei has allowed Tycho to wash his hands of the Lannisters altogether. After what we saw on the battlefield we have a god idea whose position is strongest and who the Bank would like to back," the Redditor added.

The irony would be that Lannisters "always paying their debts" would eventually be what does them in.
