There are several romantic storylines that make the Fox show “Gotham” interesting, and one of them is the budding romance between Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Selina Kyle (Carmen Bicondova).

It is only in this Season 3 that the young Bruce made his move on Selina. Of course, it is to be expected that Bruce and Selina will face many challenges in their new relationship. But Mazouz hilariously teased recently that a conflict is in the form of another woman.

On his Instagram account (@davidamazouz), the actor posted an adorable photo of himself posing beside a dog wearing a Wonder Woman costume. “GOTHAM SPOILER !!! New hero & love interest for Bruce... it's Wonder Woman,” he wrote.

It seems like members of the “Gotham” cast are huge pet lovers. Robin Lord Taylor, the actor who plays Oswald Cobblepot, shared a photo of his cat on his Instagram account (@robinlordtaylor). In it, his cat was wearing an Oswald Cobblepot badge and had a pamphlet beside it. The election pamphlet reads, “Oswald Cobblepot speaks out for a safer Gotham.”

“I know who he's voting for! #Gotham now on @foxtv! #imwithcobblepot,” he wrote.

Cobblepot, also known as Penguin, has won the mayoral election in Gotham City. But his victory came at a cost: He has now severed ties with his muscle, Butch Gillian (Drew Powell), but strengthened his relationship with Ed Nygma (Cory Michael Smith).

Taylor said Penguin’s platform to “Make Gotham Safe Again” mirrors a certain presidential candidate’s promise to make America great again.

“Oswald is someone who comes to power through manipulation, and manipulation of people’s fears,” Taylor told Blastr. “What we’re seeing here is a reflection of what’s happening now, and someone who has no political office, has shady business dealings, is a master manipulator of everyone around him.”

“It makes our show more relevant than it has ever been,” he added. “When Gotham City starts to reflect the world we live in, it’s really f---ing scary.”
