Government Shutdown 2013: Celebrities Tweet Their Reactions After U.S. Government Fails To Pass Spending Bill
At 12:01 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, the federal government shut down for the first time in 17 years. The government shutdown will shutter all services deemed “non-essential,” as the Democratic-led Senate and the GOP-controlled House of Representatives face off over the federal budget, particularly funding for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
