The Great California Garage Sale is happening Friday August 28 and Saturday August 29, an effort from California's government to sell surplus and unclaimed property at a warehouse in Sacramento.

The Garage Sale located in 1700 National Drive Sacramento, California will have everything including cars, jewelry, electronics, furniture, tools and equipment. The items are priced based on average sale prices from previous auctions.

The products must be picked up in person and cars must be picked up within five days, the California government said in a statement on its website.

The Great California Garage Sale schedule is August 28 (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Saturday, August 29, 2009 (7 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
