Green Bay Packers vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Watch Live Stream Online, Preview, Prediction for Aaron Rodgers’ Final 2012 Preseason Game
The Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs are set to square off on Thursday night in what will be each team's final NFL preseason game of 2012.
The contest is set to get underway at 7 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field. The game will be broadcast nationally on the NFL Network. If you can't get to a TV, you can watch a live stream online by clicking here.
The two teams last met in the 2011 regular season, when the Chiefs upset the Packers, ending their bid for a perfect record.
Aaron Rodgers shouldn't be long for this one. The quarterback probably won't play more than the first series of the contest.
Graham Harrell will likely take the majority of the snaps for Green Bay. He's replacing Matt Flynn, who may have been the best backup quarterback in the league a year ago. Harrell has struggled since the Packers first preseason game, completing 17 of 36 passes for 126 yards and two interceptions.
Cedric Benson might get extended playing time. The running back made his preseason debut last week, recording 38 yards on six carries.
The Chiefs are looking to end their preseason on a good note, after getting blown out by the Seahawks 44-14. They are 1-2 in exhibition games.
Most of the Kansas City starters will play just one series, but Dwayne Bowe could possibly stay on the field for a little bit longer. It's just his second game of the year, after not signing with the Chiefs until the preseason started.
A few of the team's defensive starters won't play at all. Cornerback Brandon Flowers, defensive end Glenn Dorsey, free safety Kendrick Lewis and nose tackle Anthony Toribio are all sidelined with injuries.
Prediction: The Chiefs have had a hard time stopping opponents with their first-string players on the field. Don't expect them to play any better with their starters on the bench. Harrell could have his best games of the preseason.
Predicted Score: Green Bay 30, Kansas City 17
