Gregg Leakes, a businessman who appeared with his wife Nene Leakes on the TV show “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” has died due of colon cancer. The entrepreneur was hospitalized in June and underwent surgery following the return of his cancer after going into remission for two years.

At the time of Gregg’s death, his net worth was estimated at $4 million from various endeavors including being a real estate investor and a television personality. He made the majority of his fortune in the last 20 years, investing in real estate in Atlanta, Georgia, as per Celebrity Net Worth.

On top of his business ventures, the businessman is also famous for his relationship with NeNe, who was cast on the “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2008. Gregg appeared in several episodes of the show until 2021 along with his wife. He also appeared on other shows, including “Watch What Happens Live,” “The Wendy Williams Show” and “Bethenny.”

In December 2008, the Leakes were forced to leave their 5,000-square-foot home in Duluth after an eviction notice was filed in September of the previous year. The complaint noted that Gregg owed $6,240 in past due rent. The businessman said at the time that they were no longer able to afford the home.
