UPDATE: 2.10 a.m. EST — Jackson Police Department confirmed the female bus driver of the Greyhound Bus that crashed just off I-55 South in Mississippi on Wednesday night was arrested. The driver, whose name was not revealed, was arrested for driving under the influence.

Several passengers were injured after a Greyhound bus overturned on the Pascagoula Street entry ramp to I-55 in Mississippi on Wednesday night.

All passengers were safely evacuated from the bus and 22 of them were taken to multiple hospitals in the area. However, no serious injuries were reported so far.

A video from the scene shows emergency crews rescuing passengers.

Jackson Police Department was investigating the accident, whose cause remained unknown.

Reports suggested heavy rain made conditions dangerous for the driver of the bus.
