Craving a new romance on “Grey’s Anatomy”? Well, you’re in luck. According to reports, love will literally be in the air during episode 20 of the hit ABC drama, “One Flight Down.” And can you guess which Grey Sloan doctor the storyline will involve? According to Entertainment Weekly, surgical resident Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton) will find herself in the middle of the plot when the anticipated plane crash episode airs on April 16.

“You’re going to get to see Stephanie fight for love in a very real way,” Hinton teased, adding that her character’s new love affair would involve someone new. (Could it be a victim of the crash?)

Stephanie’s love story comes as refreshing news to fans of Hinton’s character, who have watched Stephanie struggle in the dating department for quite some time now. (We’re not the only ones who remember her epic breakup with Jackson [Jesse Williams], right?) In Season 10 of “Grey’s Anatomy,” Jackson publicly -- not to mention embarrassingly -- broke things off with Stephanie in the middle of April’s (Sarah Drew) wedding.

“I’m sorry,” he said before standing up during the middle of the ceremony to admit his true feelings for April, who was moments away from getting hitched.

Viewers then got a front row seat to watch Steph’s love life crumble once again in episode 18 of Season 11, when the resident hit on the chaperone of a school field trip. But it wasn’t until she asked her prospective suitor on a date did she learn he was a junior in high school. Bummer. We have a feeling this coming storyline could be just what Stephanie needs in order to remind herself that love does exist.
