“Grey’s Anatomy” fans are cordially invited to celebrate the wedding of Amelia Shepherd and Owen Hunt — that is, if there still is one.

In a sneak-peek video for the Season 12 finale of “Grey’s Anatomy,” it’s revealed that Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) blushing bride (Caterina Scorsone) is experiencing not just cold, but frigid feet. According to the trailer, Amelia is so nervous to walk down the aisle that she locks herself in Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) bathroom.

“She’s fine!” Meredith tells Maggie (Stephanie McCreary), who is alarmed by Amelia’s actions. “You have no idea how many people have locked themselves in that bathroom. They’re always fine.”

But Maggie isn’t so sure. This is supposed to be the happiest day of Amelia’s life, and instead of spending it with in the arms of the man she’s about to marry, she’s taken the vow of silence and sealed herself away in her sister-in-law’s bathroom. So what exactly is keeping Amelia from getting hitched? The actress divulged to TVLine that initially she was excited to marry Owen. However, her feelings quickly change when her family arrives on the scene. Scorsone divulged that the lack of her family’s support “spins her out.”

“She was gung ho to go for it; but the morning of the wedding, she’s not getting the celebration and the party that she thought she’d get by becoming this adult who’s getting married,” Scorsone said. “So she’s disappointed and feeling very betrayed.”

But Amelia’s knight in shinning armor — and future husband — arrives with a suggestion that could save the day.

“Amelia, it doesn’t matter if they don’t want to be here. Then they shouldn’t be. We don’t want them. They don’t get it, and they don’t have to. I do, and I’ll be there. And all I want there is you,” he says on the other side of Amelia’s locked door.

McKidd teased on Twitter that his character deserves some happiness, which is why he’s excited for Owelia’s anticipated wedding. A fan then called the actor out for spoiling the finale, to which McKidd replied:
