‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 12 Spoilers: Find Out Who Wilmer Valderrama’s Character Gets Flirty With In Episode 17 Sneak-Peek Video
Who knew Fez could be so smooth? In episode 17 of “Grey’s Anatomy,” fans will watch as “That ‘70s Show” alum Wilmer Valderrama portrays the seriously suave character Kyle Diaz — a musician who gets admitted to the hospital due to his relapsing multiple sclerosis.
But Kyle won’t let the tremor in his hand stop him from making sweet music in Season 12 of the hit ABC series — or prevent him from getting his flirt on. In a sneak-peek video for the upcoming installment, titled “I Wear the Face,” the “Grey’s Anatomy” newcomer will manage to woo the single, scrub sporting surgeons of Grey Sloan. But his knees will buckle for one resident in particular.
“Why are all the doctors in this hospital so hot?” he says but the flattery only continues after Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) reads Kyle his chart.
“How come you know so much about me and I haven’t even met you yet?” he says to her. Kyle explains that his “wobbly hand” couldn’t have come at a worse time. He’s the opening act for a major gig and doesn’t want his trembling fingers to get in the way of his big break. Stephanie assures him that deep brain stimulation could alleviate his tumor, allowing him to strum his guitar without any shaking.
“So when I wake up I can show you how I really play,” he says, subtly asking the hot doc out on a date. And we have a feeling Stephanie will take Kyle up on his offer — after all, she’s been itching for a romance for quite some time.
Hinton told Entertainment Weekly during the airing of Season 11 that her character was going to “fight for love in a very real way.” And she certainly did when she mustered up the courage to ask who she thought was a teacher out on a date. But her knight in shinning armor turned out to be a 17-year-old student in sheep’s clothing.
Luckily for Stephanie, she has definitive proof that Kyle is not only hot but that he’s 34-years-old. Sounds like a keeper to us!
“Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
