Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -- Police released Friday a bone-chilling video of an attack launched by a group of crazed teenagers on an elderly Philadelphia man, resulting in his death the next day.

The video was originally captured by cameras installed on Cecil B. Moore Avenue near North 21st Street. A man named James Lambert, 73, was approached by the group while walking across the street at 2:38 am on June 24. Philadelphia Police said the group who fatally attacked Lambert comprises three girls and four boys, believed to be in their early to mid-teens. No arrests have been made yet, said a report by NBC10.

Local Police shared the video on their YouTube channel to enlist public help in identifying the teenagers. "A 73-year-old male victim was attacked by four Black male and three Black female teen offenders," reads the video description.

In the video, Lambert is seen walking away from the approaching group. In the next few seconds, a hoodie-clad male charged toward Lambert with a traffic cone. Lambert fell to the ground because of the impact and another girl picked up the cone and hurled it toward him. Another boy moved closer to Lambert and began filming.

Lambert then appeared to move ahead on the sidewalk when another person picked up the cone over their head and chased him, while the rest of the group laughed. Philly Police shared, "The teens struck the victim several times with objects, knocking the victim to the ground, causing injuries to his head."

Police didn't give exact descriptions of the attackers but the video highlighted a male assailant with a blonde hair patch. The department has shared a photo collage with six snapshots involving everyone from the group, in hopes that it'll lead to their arrests.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide. The department has offered a $20,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the perpetrators. Anonymous tips can be submitted by phone or text to 215-686-(8477) or on the Philly Police Dept's website.

The department's crime mapper shows there have been 280 homicides this year in Philadephia as of July 8.
