‘Growing Up Hip Hop’ Star Angela Simmons Posts Baby Bump Photo Amid Rumors She Gave Birth

Angela Simmons has not welcomed her little bundle of joy just yet. Rumors surfaced Friday that the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star had gave birth, but she seemingly responded to the reports in an Instagram post showing off her large baby bump.

“Serious growth. #WhatAJourneyToBeOn,” Simmons captioned the photo. In the image, the WEtv reality star is seen standing in a bathroom wearing black pants and a black sports bra.

Speculation that Simmons had given birth started after the Shade Room shared an Instagram post from a fan claiming that Rev Run’s daughter was in the hospital Thursday and had welcomed a baby boy weighing “5lbs & 4oz.” The Shade Room noted that it couldn’t verify whether the fan’s statement was true, but Simmons herself shut it down.

In June, the fashion designer revealed via an Instagram post that she was expecting a boy. “I can’t wait to kiss your little toes baby boy #itsaboy #MamasLittleBoy,” she wrote at the time. Her pregnancy news, which was confirmed in May, came shortly after Simmons revealed she was engaged. The 29-year-old didn’t publicly say who her fiancé is, but it’s been reported that his name is Sutton Tennyson. “YES!! I couldn’t be more excited. This is only something I could of only dreamed of. I’m over the moon and feeling so blessed to be able to share my life with the one I truly love,” Simmons posted on Instagram sharing a video of her huge sparkly engagement ring. “Everything happened in the most perfect way.”

Earlier this month, Simmons celebrated the impending arrival of her son with a baby shower at the Sugar Factory in New York. E! News reported that she was surrounded by family and friends at the event.

Recently, Simmons opened up about her pregnancy and upcoming wedding telling E! that her nuptials were on hold until summer 2017. I just want to enjoy it,” she said. “I was going to get married in the beginning, because we were already getting married and then all of a sudden I got pregnant, so I was like ok you know what now I want to wait and just do it when I can really enjoy it and be a true bride, so just in the summer sometime.”
