  • The next "GTA" title has no definitive release date yet

More details about the highly anticipated next "Grand Theft Auto" series installment have slowly surfaced online following Rockstar Games' confirmation that the game is well underway. The latest leaks reveal the game's actors as well as details on its setting.

The new details about "GTA 6" came from a Twitter user who went by the name Matheusbr9895. The user revealed the actors of the game and stated that Guy A. Fortt and Jorge Consejo will be in the upcoming title.

"For the next Grand Theft Auto Title... See you 2 soon," the tweet roughly translated. Sadly, this is where the information stopped and the leaker did not reveal any details about these actors' roles.

As of now, there is no way to confirm if this information is accurate. In other "GTA 6" news, several fans believe that the upcoming title will be set in Liberty City and not in Vice City. Earlier reports suggested that the game will feature the series' fictional version Miami as one of its settings.

Unfortunately, a recently uncovered news says otherwise. According to a Twitter user who goes by the name NEWSLEAKSGTAS, the game will be set in Liberty City, which is the series' fictional version of New York.

The information came from rapper DJ Whoo Kid, who dropped the location in a recent interview. "I was in Call Of Duty and I was in some Grand Theft Auto games. I’m bout to be in the new Grand Theft Auto that takes place in New York again," the artist said when asked the names of video games he was involved with.

While the statement sounds like "GTA 6" will return in Liberty City, some fans believe the rapper is referring to "GTA Online" and not to the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto" installment. In February, it may be recalled that Rockstar Games' website promoted "GTA Online," which featured a mysterious bloodstained notebook with a police logo on it.

Some said the badge looks similar to the Liberty City police department's badge. This only highlights that Liberty City could be a tease for "GTA Online " and not for "GTA 6."

Rockstar Games has not yet said anything about "GTA 6." Fans should temper their expectations and take the latest set of leaks as highly speculative at this stage.
