'GTA Online': How To Access Cayo Perico Island Without Taking Part In Heist Mission
KEY POINTS
- Cayo Perico Heist is the latest "GTA Online" adventure
- The island can be accessed only by players who take part in heist missions
- There is a trick that allows players to roam the island freely by just doing one mission
Rockstar Games rolled out the "Cayo Perico Heist" to its online multiplayer ARPG title on Dec. 15, which introduced a new tropical island paradise. But, access to the beautiful island is only for those who take part in heist missions. Interestingly, some "GTA Online" players discovered a trick that enables them to roam the island freely, either alone or with friends.
According to Reddit user MrBossFTL3822, players just have to be the CEO of a business or own a Motorcycle Club to get access to Cayo Perico. After that, they should complete the "Cayo Perico Scope Out" mission. Players should load up the mission one more time and they would be told to go to Los Santos airport.
At the airport, they have to hover over the Motorcycle Club or CEO request. They can enter the marker and then request a job when the cutscene starts. As soon as they spawn at Cayo Perico, players should request a contract job.
Players should not complete the job and instead, quit it and go to the beach party on the island.
The Reddit user says if these steps are followed, "GTA Online" will assume that players are still partying on the beach and they can freely roam the Cayo Perico paradise island.
"GTA Online" players could use this exploit to do fun activities on the island with their friends. One of these is finding Easter eggs. MrBossFTL3822 says players cannot use this method to roam freely and assault the guards on the island. The guards are in Godmode, which means players can't kill them.
The "Cayo Perico Heist" is the largest adventure Rockstar Games has ever released on "GTA Online." Players can enjoy the heist solo or with up to three friends. The new update introduced lots of weapons, characters, vehicles and activities for players to enjoy.
