Britney Spears is to record a song with hip-hop singer Gucci Mane soon, this was confirmed by Mane’s publicist Kali Bowyer.

He told RumorFix.com that a very busy Gooch has been in the studio recording with pop star Britney Spears. “We’ve been running around all day,” Bowyer said. “We’ve been shooting a video. And then we’ll be shooting another video with Kelly Rowland.

The recording is taking place in an Atlanta studio at Mizay Entertainement. RumorFix said that he'll be singing a few bars on Britney's new tune, Hit. Gucci Mane confirmed that Britney has been a fan of his music for years and that’s why he has chosen to do a song with her. “Britney's so icy, I'm going to make her go Brrr. Gucci told RumorFix. He said he found her raw, exciting and crazy. In other words he found some common ground with her.

Gucci Mane will also be filming a reality TV show with Waka Flocka Flame for BET.

Gucci Mane has really shot up the charts of hip hop in the last two years in spite of his runins with the law time and again. Recently, he was released from a psychiatric facility and he celebrated his freedom with an ice-cream tattoo on his cheek.

Britney Spears has been in the news for her troubled family life more than her music. Her latest single , ‘Hold I against Me’ has made it to the Billboard top 100 hits and is the most popular song on digital downloads with 411,000 sells.

She recently refused her current boyfriend, Jason Trawick’s ’s marriage proposal. It is believed that the relationship has gone awry after rumours of beatings came out. Jason was her agent who reportedly turned her personal and professional life around.
