Gwen Stefani-Blake Shelton Update: Couple Hires Wedding Planner As Marriage Rumors Heat Up; Report

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have reportedly taken a big step towards getting married. The couple, who went public with their romance in November, have not confirmed rumors that they are tying the knot soon but supposedly hired a top-notch wedding designer to start planning their big day.

Sources close to Shelton and Stefani told TMZ that they have tasked celebrity event planner Jerri Woolworth with helping them prepare for their wedding. Woolworth has worked on a number of high-profile events for companies such as the NFL and NHL as well as an event for the Country Music Awards. TMZ reported that when it reached out to Woolworth about her working with the “Sangria” singer and his girlfriend, she responded, “no comment.”

It was recently reported that Shelton was going to propose to Stefani during an upcoming ski trip. Life & Style claims that he wants to ask her to marry him either on a trip to Mammoth Lakes in California or during a vacation to Aspen, Colorado. Sources told the outlet that the No Doubt singer has been “happily telling friends” about Shelton’s plan to pop the question. “Naturally, she’ll say yes,” the source said. “They’ve been talking about getting married for months.”

Last week People magazine reported that all of Shelton and Stefani’s friends are convinced that an engagement is going to happen sooner rather than later. “They are not engaged yet,” a source said. “Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, though.” The source added: “Gwen is very, very happy with Blake. She always acts giddy when she talks about Blake.”

Shelton recently opened up about his relationship with Stefani, saying during an appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” that he felt lucky to have her. “I still can’t believe it. I think that she must have some vision problems,” he joked. “Maybe she needs help.”

While Shelton and Stefani are rumored to be getting hitched, the country singer’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert is said to be pregnant. While out and about this week, a photographer asked Lambert about rumors she was expecting a baby with boyfriend Anderson East but she refused to comment. “No more, no more,” she said as her bodyguard put his hand out to block the camera. Even though Lambert didn’t want to confirm or deny the baby rumor, her rep said there’s no truth to the gossip and she’s not pregnant.
