Gwen Stefani-Blake Shelton Update: Couple To Spend New Year’s Eve Together While Kids Are With Gavin Rossdale, Source Says
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are slated to spend New Year’s Eve together, Hollywood Life reported Tuesday. While the judges on NBC's "The Voice" enjoy their night out, Stefani’s three children with stay with her ex-husband, Bush singer Gavin Rossdale.
“Christmas is going to be all about her kids, but New Year’s Eve will be adults-only time. They’re looking forward to celebrating with friends and getting wild and, of course, spending private time back in their hotel suite,” an insider said. “Gwen and Blake are planning for a very romantic New Year’s Eve.”
To make sure her sons — Kingston, 9; Zuma, 7; and Apollo, 22 months — don't feel left out, Stefani has painted New Year’s Eve without her as an all-boys night with their father. “And the kids will constantly FaceTime with Gwen,” an insider told Us Weekly, according to Hollywood Life.
Stefani and Rossdale split in August after more than a decade together after she reportedly discovered he was having an affair with their nanny, Mindy Mann. While the Bush singer has denied the accusations, Stefani’s new song “Used to Love You” seems to hint at infidelity.
Now, the No Doubt star wants a face-to-face meeting with her former nanny so she can get answers about the apparent affair. “She’s told friends she won’t be at peace with everything until she hears the whole truth about exactly what happened between Gavin and their nanny once and for all,” an insider told In Touch Weekly via Hollywood Life.
Stefani, reportedly found out about the supposed tryst in February. By October, the divorce was finalized.
