Gwen Stefani-Blake Shelton Update: Singers Cozy Up In Couple Shirts During Oklahoma Getaway In New Instagram Photo
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton took some time off from their busy schedules to spend the holiday weekend together in the “Sangria” singer’s home state of Oklahoma.
Stefani, 46, shared a sweet photo of her and the 40-year-old “The Voice” judge on Instagram on Sunday, Sept. 4. Stefani was all smiles while cuddling with her beau in the snapshot, which she simply captioned, “Hi Gx.” As if that weren’t adorable enough, the pair sported what appeared to be couple Hawaiian shirts.
Stefani has been posting a lot of photos and videos of her and Shelton’s adventures in the great outdoors with the “Hollaback Girl” singer’s kids. Over the weekend, she shared a few videos of animals running by their car on Snapchat, according to E! News.
Her 10-year-old son Kingston seemed to have joined his mother and Shelton on their getaway as Stefani shared a funny video of him on Snapchat. In the clip, Kingston, whom Stefani shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, sported the old man filter and, in a much deeper voice thanks to the filter, said, “Looks like I had a bit of a puberty change don't you think?”
Meanwhile, Stefani and Shelton have been dogged with engagement and wedding rumors for the past couple of months. In August, a Life & Style report claimed that the couple is already preparing for their wedding, which will reportedly be held around Christmas at Shelton's Oklahoma ranch. “Apollo wants to be the ring bearer, and the two older boys will be junior groomsmen with Blake. Blake wants it to be really special, to show them coming together as a family,” the mag’s source claimed.
According to the magazine, Shelton has reportedly become very close with Stefani’s kids — Kingston, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2 — and has become a second father to them. “They really did look like a family. Blake acted like he was Apollo’s dad,” an insider told Life & Style of their family trip to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden last month.
