Gwyneth Paltrow is supportive of her ex Ben Affleck's reignited romance with Jennifer Lopez.

Affleck and Lopez, who rekindled their romance in May, made their red carpet debut since getting back together at the Venice International Film Festival. The couple attended the red carpet premiere for his new movie, "The Last Duel," at the film festival Friday, marking their first official appearance together in 18 years, Us Weekly reported.

Lopez donned a long white Georges Hobeika gown with a plunging neckline decked out in crystals. Meanwhile, Affleck looked dapper in his black tuxedo.

Photos of the couple immediately went viral after Lopez's stylist, Mariel Haenn, shared them on Instagram. "Here for it #Bennifer," she wrote in the caption with a heart on fire emoji.

Soon after, Paltrow, who dated Affleck in the late 1990s, commented on the post, "Okay, this is cute."

One photo showed Affleck and Lopez gazing fondly into each other's eyes as they held hands, while another picture showed the actor leaning in to press a kiss on the singer's cheek with his arm wrapped around her waist. A third image featured the two locking lips on the red carpet.

Aside from Paltrow, other stars and fans of Lopez and Affleck also expressed their support for the couple's rekindled romance.

"Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell commented, "SO MUCH YES." Singer Pia Toscano wrote, "I'm dying." Nia Renee Hill added, "Inject it into my veins!!!"

Paltrow and Affleck dated off-and-on from 1997 to 2000. They worked together on 1998's "Shakespeare in Love," which earned her an Oscar for best actress, and 2000's "Bounce," Us Weekly reported.

In an interview with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show in 2018, Paltrow, who is now married to Brad Falchuk, described her relationship with Affleck as a "lesson."

"It's interesting, I think there’s certain boyfriends where you are trying to work stuff out, right?" she was quoted by People as saying. "Like, you're trying to heal certain stuff from your childhood and he was very much a lesson in that way."

"I'm not sure exactly what I was trying to heal in that instance, but it was…he was, you know, it was specific," she added.

Meanwhile, Affleck and Lopez originally began dating in July 2002 after meeting on the set of their movie "Gigli." They got engaged that November before postponing their September 2003 wedding just days before the original date. They ultimately called off their engagement in early 2004.

Lopez and Affleck reconnected in late April following their respective splits from Alex Rodriguez and Ana de Armas.
