Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Rare Photos of Daughter Apple To Mark 16th Birthday

Gwyneth Paltrow shared rare photos of her teen daughter Apple on social media.

Patlrow has two children from her ex-husband Chris Martin, Apple and Moses. Their eldest child just celebrated her 16th birthday while on lockdown. The “Iron Man” star took to Instagram to mark the event by sharing two photos of the teenager.

Apple clearly got the looks of her mom as she is as beautiful as Paltrow. In the snaps, she poses on the couch in a white floral mini dress.

“I can’t believe I’m actually writing these words but... happy sweet sixteen my darling girl. You are the light of my heart, you are pure joy,” Paltrow wrote in the caption.

According to the celebrity mom, her daughter is “wickedly intelligent” and has the “most brilliant sense of humor.”

“I have the best time being your mom. I love our nightly evening chats when I really get to hear what’s on your mind. You work hard to get whatever it is you want to achieve, and you have grit and responsibility in spades. I am so damn lucky to be your mother, you beautiful, kind young woman. Thank you for choosing me,” Paltrow continued.

The GOOP owner also apologized to Apple for having a quarantine birthday. She then praised her daughter for “finding the best in everything.”

Gwyneth and Apple are incredibly close. In 2011, the “Emma” star admitted that she had her daughter skip class to bond with her. Apple was only 6 years old at the time.

“I’ll probably get [removed from] our school for admitting this, but I let Apple stay home yesterday,” Paltrow said. “I just needed to be with her. We went out to lunch, we went to the beauty salon, we were together.”

Paltrow and Martin got married on Dec. 5, 2003. They divorced in 2016 but remained friends as they co-parent their two kids.

In a previous interview, Paltrow confessed that she didn’t expect her marriage would end in divorce. She explained that she doesn’t come from a culture of divorce, so she had so much expectations about her married life. But even after their split, Paltrow has nothing but praises for Apple’s dad.

“Luckily my ex-husband is an incredibly good ex-husband and an amazing dad,” she shared.
