Hacking Groups LulzSec and Anonymous Form Alliance
Two of the most notable hacking groups in the world, LulzSec and Anonymous, have jointly announced they are going to take the world by storm - one hack at a time.
The two hacking groups are calling the organization, AntiSec, and plan on going after government institutions. Already, various reports say the group has attacked its first government target, Web site of Serious Organized Crime Agency in the United Kingdom. The website was down this morning with a message that said it was taken down in the name of AntiSec.
Top priority is to steal and leak any classified government information, including email spools and documentation. Prime targets are banks and other high-ranking establishments, LulzSec said in a statement.
Anonymous tweeted last week that it wasn't at war with Lulzsec. It said, We are not at war. We are bros of teh internetz (sic).
Both groups have made headlines over the past year for high-profile attacks. Lulzsec has gone after the CIA, U.S. Senate and various Sony sites. Anonymous, a self-described political hactivist group, has gone after various government organizations including several in the Middle East, it has also targeted PayPal, Mastercard and other sites which stopped payments to WikiLeaks and it targeted Sony as well.
