‘Haikyuu!!’ Season 4, Episode 22 Spoilers, Preview: Inarizaki High Gain Momentum

The Miya twins bounce back and regain the lost momentum for their team – Inarizaki High. "Haikyuu!!" Season 4, Episode 22, which is titled "Pitons," Karasuno High feel cornered amid the Miya brothers’ aggressive gameplay.

The official website released the synopsis and spoiler stills for "Haikyuu!!" Season 4, Episode 22. The synopsis hints at Inarizaki High giving tough competition to their opponents, thanks to Miya twins slaying on the court. However, Karasuno High might execute a different plan that will change the flow of the game for the remainder of the concluding set.

One of the stills from "Haikyuu!!" Season 4, Episode 22 indicates Kageyama and Atsumu will face each other. Another still shows Hinata’s face where he looks tensed about something.

"Haikyuu!!" Season 4, Episode 21 Recap

The episode titled "Hero" starts with Karasuno High leading the points table as Daichi prepares to serve. However, he is unimpressed with his service due to lack of power. Aran manages to make the first contact and Osamu tries to score but Daichi is able to receive the attack.

As the ball heads back to Inarizaki High’s side, Suna appears to execute an attack. Tsukishima goes to block, but Suna is able to use his core and spike past the opponent. To Atsumu and Suna’s surprise, Daichi takes the spike and Asahi picks and spikes the ball past Osamu and Suna.

Later, in the episode, coach Ukai sends Kinoshita for service and Sugawara encourages him to bag ten points for the team.

Kinoshita is aware that this is his last chance to prove his worth on the court. The ongoing match is important for him as he wants to emerge as a hero. He makes a mental map of how his service will land. He prepares and serves.

Unfortunately, the opposing team’s Aran is able to spike with Osamu’s help and score a point for Inarizaki High. Kinoshita is devastated as he is called back.

Toward the second half of the episode, Kinoshita does prove that he is as important as any other player. Episode 21 also shows Osamu and Atsumu’s backstory and how they became the dreaded Miya twins.
