Hailey Baldwin Talks Selena Gomez Feud Rumors; Says There’s No Drama Over Justin Bieber

Hailey Baldwin says there is absolutely no drama between her and Selena Gomez. For weeks, rumors have circulated that the “Hands To Myself” singer and the model were feuding over Baldwin’s relationship with Justin Bieber.

But Baldwin told Us Weekly on Wednesday that the rumors are untrue, and it “sucks” that people are trying to stir something up between her and Gomez, who dated Bieber off and on for years before splitting in 2014. “There’s never any truth to that, first of all,” she said. “She’s a lovely girl. She’s very kind. Her and I have a lot of mutual friends, and it’s all cool between everybody. We run in the same circles.”

Bieber and Baldwin called it quits in March after a few months of dating, but the two have remained close friends. As previously reported, there were rumors that Gomez decided to skip a Met Gala after-party earlier this month because she wanted to avoid running into Bieber and the 19-year-old model. Supposedly, Gomez and her friends were going to go to the Boom Boom Room but changed their plans at the last minute. The group reportedly ended up going to a star-studded Vogue after-party.

There were also reports that Gomez was “furious” when Bieber brought his ex-girlfriend as his guest to the iHeartRadio Music Awards last month.

In April, Baldwin opened up about dating Bieber, telling Elle that it’s tough to date someone in the industry. “You have to have really thick skin and be very strong,” she told the outlet. “You have to focus on the person and nothing else.”
