Hailey Bieber Doesn't Compete With Kardashian-Jenner Sisters In Beauty Space; Here's Why
Hailey Bieber is clear that there is no competition between her and Kardashian-Jenner sisters when it comes to their businesses in beauty products.
Bieber, who is the founder of Rhode skincare line, was questioned about competition with Kim Kardashian's SKKN and Kylie Jenner's Kylie Skin. The 25-year-old model clarified that there is "space" for everyone in this business and she supports Kardashian and Jenner's brands.
"The thing about competition is that there's space for everybody and I really do believe that," Bieber said during the Wall Street Journal's Tech Live conference Monday, People reported.
"Those women are amazing and they're some of my closest friends and I really love all of their brands, and I would never not support their brands and cheer them on because they've also really done the same for me," she added.
Bieber went on to explain that she doesn't believe in comparing her brand with others because she cares "about the individuality of the brand." She added, "I just think there's space for everybody to succeed and thrive."
The model first announced her beauty brand in April and launched it in June. Ahead of the launch, Bieber explained how her mother, Kennya Baldwin was always focused on keeping her skin healthy.
"I just could always remember my mom, as a child, getting [me] out of the bath, drenching me head to toe, just hydration, hydration, hydration, very focused on keeping the skin healthy," she recalled during an interview with Allure in May. "It started with my grandmother, she taught my mom, my mom taught me."
Bieber further shared that her products are affordable so that people can keep going back to purchase them. "I've given it to a lot of different makeup artists to try on their clients and I've gotten really good feedback on it," she said.
On the personal front, Bieber married Canadian singer Justin Bieber in 2018. The couple first met in 2009 during a meet and greet. She appeared on the singer's Instagram posts frequently from November 2014.
They got engaged in July 2018 and exchanged vows a few months later in September. Earlier this year, there were speculations that the couple might be expecting a baby but the model shut down the rumors and said she is "super young" to have children.
