HALFTIME REPORT: Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United
Aside from a great opportunitiy by Dimitar Berbatov in the 16th minute, it's been all Liverpool at Anfield, as the home side have taken a 2-0 lead after 45 minutes.
Liverpool got on the board in the 34th minute when Luis Suarez danced around the Manchester United defense along the goal line to set up a Dirk Kuyt's tap into the net.
Kuyt wasn't done. Five minutes later, he scored off a bad back header from Nani, to put Liverpool up 2-0.
Four yellow cards have been given in this match, as the sportsmanship has been questionable. Tough foul calls have made the game more rough than perhaps would be expected.
Sir Alex Ferguson will have to inspire his squad at the break and perhaps get a boost from Javier Hernandez who should strengthen the attack.
