Hallmark Channel Valentine’s Day Movies: Watch 5 New Romantic Movies Leading Up To Feb. 14 [SCHEDULE]
Get ready to be shot by cupid’s arrow! Hallmark Channel is ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day early this year with their “Countdown to Valentine’s Day” event.
The network, which is home to all your favorite guilty pleasure movies, will be launching their “Countdown to Valentine’s Day” on Saturday, Jan. 30. Romantic movies will air every weekend leading up to Feb. 14, including five new original premieres!
“Dater’s Handbook,” about a woman who looks to a self-help book to turn her dating life around, will kick off the original premieres on Jan. 30 at 9 p.m. EST. The movie stars Meghan Markle (“Suits”), Kristoffer Polaha (“Mad Men”) and Jonathan Scarfe (“Hell on Wheels”).
The fun will continue on Sunday, Jan. 31 with the premiere of “All Things Valentine” at 9 p.m. EST. Viewers will meet Avery (Sarah Rafferty, “Suits”), an unlucky in love newspaper columnist who is supposed to write an advice piece for Valentine’s Day. Although upset at first, a handsome veterinarian named Brendan (Sam Page, “Switched at Birth”) changes Avery’s outlook on the assignment. However, the twist is that Avery’s column played a role in Brendan’s breakup with his last girlfriend – and he’s been “leaving angry comments on her blog ever since.”
Sparks will fly in “Appetite for Love,” which will premiere on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 9 p.m. EST. Taylor Cole (“The Glades”) and Andrew Walker (“Sabrina, the Teenage Witch”) star in this sweet, romantic film about a woman who returns to her hometown to convince her ex-boyfriend to sell his beloved old restaurant to her company. But will her ex turn the tables and convince her to stay?
Hallmark Channel will round out Valentine’s Day weekend with “Valentine Ever After” on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 9 p.m. EST, and “Anything for Love” on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. EST. Check out the full schedule and watch some trailers for the “Countdown to Valentine’s Day” event below:
