Halloween is almost here, which means it is time to get costumes together. Everyone wants to have the cutest couples costume at the party, and no one wants to have to tell people what their costumes are supposed to be. Dressing up as recognizable TV characters ensures that everyone will know who you are. We’ve picked out some of our favorite modern TV couples whose costumes that aren’t too hard to recreate.

1. Once Upon A Time” -- Emma Swan and Captain Hook

Everyone loves Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the Captain (Colin O’Donoghue), or Captain Swan. Recreating the couple is pretty easy, especially for those who already have a pair of jeans and leather jackets. If you want to copy their recent date night from "Once Upon A Time" Season 4 episode 4, you’ll have to go the extra mile. For Hook, everything needs to be black: black boots, black pants, black leather jacket, black vest, black button up, black eyeliner and a skull necklace (because he’s still a pirate). Also, you can’t forget a hook on the left hand. For Emma, blonde hair should be tied up in a high ponytail, a pale pink V-neck dress should be worn and a single red rose should be carried. (Tip: Get a fake rose so that you don’t have to worry about petals falling off.)

2. “Orange Is The New Black” -- Piper and Alex/Piper and Larry

If you’re looking for a comfortable costume, try some orange jumpsuits. “Orange Is The New Black” costumes require minimal makeup, and maybe a wig depending on the wearer’s hair color. Piper (Taylor Schilling) just needs an orange jumpsuit and blonde hair. Anyone dressing up as Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) just has to have some winged eyeliner and a pair of glasses. If someone wants to go as Larry (Jason Biggs), just throw on some khakis and layer a button down under a sweater. If the couple wants to go the extra mile, jump on the computer and make some Litchfield Correctional Facility ID tags.

3. “Game Of Thrones” -- Khaleesi Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo

Maybe she isn’t the Khaleesi anymore, but everyone loved Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Drogo (Jason Momoa) when they were together. Relive Season 1 (when all of your favorite characters were still alive) by dressing up as everyone’s favorite “Game Of Thrones” couple. Drogo needs brown pants, dark boots, and some brown fabric tied around his forearms. He’ll also need a long, dark wig in a ponytail and a beard. For Daenerys, the wearer can either go with her wedding dress, which is just grayish fabic draped over her or go with one of her traveling outfits. Dany wore brown pants and boots and crop tops. Layer a couple of brown tshirts and cut them different ways to get the ragged effect of this “Game of Thrones” Halloween costume, and don't forget a platinum blonde wig.

4. “Doctor Who” -- The Doctor and the Tardis

The most important woman in the Doctor’s life is his time machine, the Tardis. For the time machine, just a box and some paint will do the trick. Some people like to make Tardis dresses, which would also go perfectly with this costume. For the Doctor, there are many options. The Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) isn’t quite as recognizable as Eleven (Matt Smith) and Ten (David Tennant) yet. For Eleven, try a brown suit, bowtie and fez. For Ten, a blue or brown suit with a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor's and glasses will do the trick. If you really want to give Twelve a shot, try wearing Doc Martens with black pants, a white shirt and a dark military trench coat. (Just make sure that the coat doesn’t look like Jack Harkness’ WWII coat.) Whichever Doctor you choose, don’t forget his sonic screwdriver.

5. “Glee” -- Quinn and Puck

“Glee” is entering its final season, so it’s probably the last year Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Puck (Mark Salling) will be relevant. Throw it back to "Glee" Season 1 by rocking a pregnant cheerleader’s uniform. Buy (or make) a big costume so you can put a pillow where Quinn’s pregnant belly should be. For Puck, wear a letterman’s jacket and a Mohawk. Carry a slushee and sing "Don't Stop Believin'" if you really want to put in the extra effort this Halloween.
