Hannah Brown Adds This Major Title To Her List Of Accomplishments

Hannah Brown can now add lifesaver to her long list of accomplishments.

The former "Bachelorette" and champion of "Dancing With the Stars" Season 28 proved that she knows how to do more than just look for love and dance -- she can be a life-saving hero.

Hannah was in Tennessee on Saturday and took part in some white-water rafting with her family when the heroic moment occurred. Later, the man's girlfriend recounted the story on Twitter, writing, "How fun Hannah Brown saved my boyfriend from drowning in the Ocoee River today."

"She was on the river with us our raft flipped and her and her family were on the trip with us she ended up pulling my bf onto their raft after the current took him," the woman explained in a follow-up tweet. "I didn’t know who she was but her mom said she had just won DWTS and that she was the bachelorette!"

Hannah's brother, Patrick, also seemed to reference the incident in an Instagram post.

"Took on the rapids with the fam jam! I got to relive my lifeguard days and Hannah thinks she’s apart of the Coast Guard now... #rescuemission," he captioned a series of photos from the trip.

The news comes after Hannah was involved in a huge controversy over her accidental use of the N-word while singing along to a song. The incident caused many members of Bachelor nation to speak out, most notably Rachel Lindsay, who was the franchise's only Black lead in the 40 seasons and 18 years since the show began.

Following the incident, the 25-year-old former Miss Alabama's issued a written statement posted to her Instagram Story.

"I owe you all a major apology," she wrote. "There is no excuse and I will not justify what I said. I have read your messages and seen the hurt I have caused. I own it all. I am terribly sorry and know that whether in public or private this language is unacceptable. I promise to do better."

About two weeks later Hannah issued a more in-depth apology on camera where she vowed to do better and be better.

"I don't want to be ignorant anymore," she said.

Last week, the Bachelor franchise announced their first male Black lead ever will be Matt James on the upcoming season of "The Bachelor."
