As A Harley Quinn Fan, Ruby Rose Requests Margot Robbie’s Hair

“Orange is the New Black” star Ruby Rose is just like everyone else who loves Harley Quinn. Well, maybe not exactly. The Australian beauty asked for a piece of Margot Robbie’s hair after the fellow Aussie played Harley Quinn in “Suicide Squad.”

Rose took to Twitter to make the strange request, posting a photo of her comic book paraphernalia. “When you just added some Harley Quinn to your shrine but now you just need @MargotRobbie strand of hair,” she wrote Sunday. The post was like more than 2,000 times and garnered hundreds of shares.

Robbie doesn’t typically use Twitter, so when the Harley Quinn actress didn’t respond, Rose sent out another message, writing: “Dear @MargotRobbie do you know where I could find a strand of your hair for a Harley Quinn fan? Asking for a friend.” This time, the post garnered more than 3,500 likes and nearly 1,000 shares.

Even though Robbie didn’t answer Rose, it’s probably not the strangest response she’s gotten from a fan. The “Suicide Squad” received a live rat and used condoms from co-star Jared Leto, who played The Joker. She kept it and feeds it organic berries from Whole Foods.

“If Harley got something from Joker, she'd probably cherish it,” Robbie told Elle Magazine in August 2015 about the pet, who she named “Rat Rat.”

The starlet would like to see a spin-off movie with the scenes between Harley Quinn and The Joker that were deleted from “Suicide Squad.” “There’s just so much more to do,” she told Tipsy Talk last week about Harley’s relationship with The Joker. “The back story magic.”
