  • Clinton Morrison admits to being a Tottenham fan since tender age
  • Morrison wants Manchester City to pursue Harry Kane
  • Kane and Heung-Min Son are rumored to be considering leaving the Spurs

Die-hard Tottenham fan Clinton Morrison makes a bold prediction about Harry Kane.

Despite having two of the best strikers in the English Premier League and one of the greatest coaches of all time, the Spurs still found themselves way behind title contention.

Every other match, it seems that Tottenham is always experiencing different setbacks which have led to Jose Mourinho’s employment being jeopardized.

Even worse, rumors began to swirl around the league that the club’s talisman Kane is now considering leaving the Spurs.

While nothing has been confirmed yet regarding Kane’s possible Tottenham exit, big-name clubs such as Manchester City have already been alerted about making a swoop for the England captain.

Sky Sports pundit and former Crystal Palace striker Morrison is one of the soccer personalities who recently shared his thoughts about the matter.

According to Morrison, who has been a Tottenham fan since boyhood, it’s hard to see Kane leaving the Spurs, but at this point, he could be at his best if he joins Pep Guardiola's side.

“I would be honest. Sitting here, I am a Tottenham fan, so I am telling people what I am,” Morrison said on Sky Sports News. “I am a Tottenham fan. I have been a Tottenham fan for years. I was a ball boy there when I was 14 years of age.”

“It pains me to say this, but if I am Pep Guardiola, I am going to get Harry Kane,” he added. “Without a shadow of a doubt. If Harry Kane is in that Man City team, he goes and scores 40 goals a season without a shadow of a doubt.”

Kane has been consistent in his goal-scoring for Tottenham. Last season, he notched 18 goals in 19 Premier League appearances.

The 27-year-old has continued his fine form in the current campaign, having bagged 13 goals in 22 matches to date.

The Citizens, on the other hand, have Sergio Aguero, who has had injury problems over the years. This season, the 2015 Golden Boot winner hasn’t scored a single goal to his name.

No concrete offers have been made yet for Kane’s signature, but a recent report revealed that Kane, as well as his Tottenham co-star Heung-Min Son, are both open to the idea of departing Mourinho’s side.

The pair has reportedly grown tired of not winning a major trophy at Tottenham and is possibly talking to their representatives for a possible transfer in the summer.
