Harry Potter fans around the world dressed up costumes for the opening weekend of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which topped box office records.
The highly-anticipated film undoubtedly dominated the box office bringing in $476 million worldwide in its opening weekend. Breaking the record with $168.6 million in ticket sales in North America, it shattered the record held by The Dark Knight of $158.4 million, thanks to devoted fans excited to see the final installment of the J.K. Rowling novel adapted films.
