‘Harry Potter’ Stars Emma Watson And Tom Felton Reunite At The Beach
There’s no Slytherin and Gryffindor rivalry here. Emma Watson shared that she hung out with fellow “Harry Potter” alum Tom Felton recently.
The Hermione Granger actress took to Twitter to first share a photo of them on the beach. Watson also took a moment to promote Felton’s new YouTube Premium series, “Origin,” which co-stars fellow “Potter” alum Natalia Tena, ahead of its Nov. 14 release.
She also shared a video from her reunion with Felton, who played Draco Malfoy. The clip showed Watson on a skateboard with the 31-year-old actor. “Easy with the wobbling! Keep your feet still,” he said as Watson giggled that she was standing still. “You’re not! You’re dancing on the board like a clown. Hang on tight,” he added.
The 28-year-old actress included a hashtag that noted her “subpar skateboarding skills” and reminded followers that they’ve known each other for nearly 20 years now.
The skateboarding was part of why Brown graduate used to have a big crush on the “Flash” actor. “Between the ages of 10 and 12 I had a really sort of terrible crush on Tom Felton,” she admitted on “The Jonathan Ross Show” in 2012. “We love a bad guy, and he was a few years older and he had a skateboard. And that just did it really….He used to do tricks on it, and he used to like—he was so cool.”
It isn’t too surprising to see former “Potter” castmates together. Last month, Felton posted a photo on Instagram with Daniel Radcliffe and told fans to go see his new Broadway play, “Lifespan of a Fact.”
While promoting “Beauty and the Beast,” Watson revealed that the Hogwarts alumni have a WhatsApp group chat and that her old co-stars were making an effort to support her. “We actually have a group WhatsApp, which I invited everyone, really, from the main cast from Harry Potter to come to the screenings,” she told Entertainment Tonight in March 2017. “Matt Lewis and Tom Felton came to the screening that we just had in LA. It’s kind of like Pokémon. I’m trying to catch them all right now.”
