  • Harry Styles' ex-girlfriend, passed away this weekend from suicide

One Direction singer Harry Styles was "mugged at knifepoint" in the Hampstead area of London on Friday, Feb. 14, Metropolitan Police confirmed.

The police statement revealed that the incident happened around 11:50 p.m. An unidentified man, reportedly, approached the English singer-songwriter and threatened him with a knife. Though Styles was unharmed, the robber took some cash from him.

Mirror Online reported that the “Story of My Life” singer was able to keep himself calm and quickly gave what the mugger asked. "He actually played it pretty cool, quickly giving the assailant cash, keeping himself and the guy calm and getting the situation over with,” a source told the publication. “Understandably though it left him very shaken up afterwards,” it went on.

Harry Styles and his management have yet to comment on the report.

Just a day after the incident was reported, Styles’ ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack, reportedly, took her own life at her flat in London. She was 40.

The “What Makes You Beautiful” hitmaker’s mom, Anne Twist, paid tribute to Flack on social media following the death of the British television presenter. “Heartbreaking #ripcarolineflack," she wrote on Twitter, along with a broken heart emoji. She even retweeted a post saying, “Nobody should be made to feel like they don’t belong on this earth, nobody! Nobody should be made to feel so frightened and bereft of options they decide to take their own life."

Anne also took to Instagram to lament on Flack’s passing. Styles’ mom shared a snap of a poem about loneliness and heartache. “May you have found your peace @carolineflack,” she said in the caption.

To recall, Styles and Flack were reported to be dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of “The X Factor” show.

Meanwhile, despite the robbery and tragic death of his close pal, Styles still graced the Brit Awards 2020 at the O2 Arena. "Despite the tragic news which will have affected him deeply, Harry's booking for the BRIT Awards has not changed,” an insider told Daily Star Online. "He will perform during the show as planned," it continued.
