Have Dinner With Liam Payne, Britney Spears, The Chainsmokers And More: Here's How
As social-distancing rules keep people physically apart, it's had a surprising side effect of actually bringing people closer together -- virtually, of course.
Food delivery app DoorDash has paired up with Chili's and DJ Chantel Jeffries to unite fans and celebrities for a virtual dinner party. On the guest list includes Liam Payne, Marshmello, Jordan Clarkson, Addison Rae, Britney Spears, The Chainsmokers, Nicole Scherzinger, Travis Mills, Fatherkels, Olivia O'Brien, Fletcher, Jamie Lynn Spears, Alesso, Shaylen, Jay Sean, Alissa Violet, Gigi Gorgeous & Nats Getty, Dinah Jane, Paris Hilton, Anastasia Karanikolaou, and Lolo Zouaï.
The feast will take place on Thursday and will feature a specialized menu from the chain restaurant. Viewers can order a full-sized entree, appetizer, and dessert all for $13 during the event. Choices include burgers, pasta, quesadillas, and fajitas, plus chips and salsa and chocolate cake.
The ambiance wouldn't be complete without some music, which Jeffries will provide with her new single, "Come Back to Me."
"This time at home has been such an eye-opening experience for so many people and it has reminded me personally of what truly matters; getting back to the basics of connection, laughter and spending time with the people you value in your life," the DJ said in a statement.
"I'm so grateful that DoorDash and Chili's share the same values and we were able to create the 'Come Back To Me' virtual dinner party where we are able to come together virtually over a good meal and give back to those who truly need it the most at this time," she continued.
In addition to providing some food and entertainment, DoorDash will donate meals to families in need through Feeding America based on the number of people who tune in to the party, up to 250,000 meals. It airs Thursday on YouTube starting at 11 p.m. EDT/8 p.m. PDT.
