HBO Go has arrived for Amazon.com Inc.’s Fire TV streaming set-top box. But, the cable network’s streaming service is not coming to Amazon’s Fire TV Stick dongle until spring, the retailer said Monday.

HBO Go also supports the voice search feature built into the Amazon Fire TV remote. A built-in microphone lets you speak the title of a film or TV show, and the set-top box searches through the catalogs of Amazon Instant Video, Hulu, Vevo, Showtime Anytime and now, HBO Go.

“Since launch we’ve increased the number of services available on Amazon Fire TV by more than [four times],” said Peter Larsen, Amazon’s vice president of devices. “We’re thrilled to add HBO GO, the most requested service, to Fire TV in time for the holidays. HBO has produced some of the most groundbreaking and award-winning TV shows and movies, and we are excited to bring this amazing content to our customers.”

Amazon claims that over 700 apps and games are now available for the Fire TV platform. The voice-enabled Apple TV competitor is on sale for $79 ($20 off) until Dec. 28.
