HBO Now Movies List 2016: Highlights From The January Lineup
With the end of 2015 comes an entirely new crop of shows and movies leaving from and being added to all of your favorite subscription streaming services. As it continues to expand its territory in the streaming game, HBO Now will be adding a slew of new content to its library, as well as giving customers one last chance to watch some of their favorites before they’re removed in January.
The new year is kicking off in a big way for the movie-watcher in your household thanks to the addition of this summer’s blockbuster hit “Mad Max: Fury Road,” as well as the “The Godfather Epic,” which cuts parts 1 and 2 of the Francis Ford Coppola classic together into one cohesive movie. Just missing the Christmas season, “The Muppet Christmas Carol” will be available for all those who want to watch it off-season on Jan. 1.
Unfortunately, to bring these great titles to your TV screen, several movies and TV series have to be removed from the HBO Now library to make room. Subscribers will have until the end of the month to catch “The Lego Movie” ahead of its upcoming sequel. Meanwhile, it’s the last chance to see films like “The Judge,” “John Wick” and “Superman Returns.”
