'Hearthstone' Tables Are Full Glitch: Are The Servers Down?
UPDATE: I've been able to log in, but the servers are still super glitchy.
Like the start of every big Blizzard expansion release, there has to be a bit of a bumpy start. Hearthstone just released their newest expansion, Journey To Un’Goro, or at least tried to. Millions of players logging in at once and opening 50 pre-order packs must have been too much for the servers to handle, because the entire game is down.
Try waiting a few hours to try out all the Elementals, everything should be up and running soon. Don’t worry, your packs aren’t going anywhere.
Here’s a tweet from Blizzard CS saying they are working on the problem:
If you are on an Android device, you might see “The Tables Are Full” with no timer underneath, which is just a minor glitch. The Wisps have gotten into the wires and completely fried the servers. There is most definitely nobody at the table right now, most North American players can’t even log into the game.
Hearthstone streamer Kripparrian has given up and just started playing Minesweeper instead. It may not have as many orcs or gnomes as Blizzard’s card game, but it does have the same level of luck and RNG involved. Amaz, another Hearthstone personality took a slight jab at Kripp on his Twitter.
I am dying to get into those packs, I managed to open around 40 before the game fully crashed on me. I didn’t pull a single Legendary, so I’m hoping there’s a glitch and I’m not just very unlucky. There might even be a glitch in the rarity rate, after the release of Hearthstone’s last expansion, Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan, players pulled an unnatural amount of Tri-class cards, forcing Blizzard to give players free packs, up to a third of what they opened.
I’ll be refreshing my client constantly until this is fixed and will update this post accordingly.
