Heath Ledger's 'Tree House' Bought By 'Hunger Games' Star Josh Hutcherson [PHOTOS]
Heath Ledger's Tree House in the Hollywood Hills was bought by The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson.
The tree house in Hollywood Hills, named by its neighbors because of its wooden exterior and the excessive foliage surrounding it, was the one-time home of Ledger and ex-girlfriend Michelle Williams. It was listed last September for $2.995 million.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom house has an acre of land, large rooms, big garden, a fire pit and outdoor screening room. It used to belong to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres before the couple bought it in 2006.
Ledger died of an accidental drug overdose in 2008 when he was 28 years old. It became part of the actor's estate sale in late 2008 but not put on the market until 2011.
Ledger became the first actor to win a post-humous Oscar for his role as The Joker in 2008's The Dark Knight.
Hutcherson, 19, bought the house after recently undergoing surgery to fix a broken nose.
