Heidi Klum and Seal are getting a divorce, and tabloids and fans alike are already trying to figure out what went wrong with the fairy tale romance that lasted almost nine years (including seven years of marriage).

We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart, the couple said in a jointly released statement this morning.

After the pair announced the separation, which is expected to end in divorce later this week, rumors are swirling as to why Klum and Seal have decided to split up, with everything from the singer's partying ways and volcanic temper to Klum's hectic schedule added to the mix.
