Does 66-year-old Helen Mirren have the hottest female body of the year? According to an LA Fitness poll of 2,000 people: Yes!

With 17.65% of the vote, the sexy sexagenarian beat out favorites like Jennifer Lopez (6.6%), Kate Winslet (3.9%), and Kate Middleton's perky baby sister Pippa (4%).

Topping the list on the male side was soccer star David Beckham, followed by Bond star Daniel Craig and superstar Johnny Depp.

While no one is arguing that Mirren (of "The Queen" fame) looks fantastic, it did come as a shock that she would win such an award at her mature age when muscle mass shrinks, bone density diminishes, and a sense of balance fades.

Tony Orme, marketing director for LA fitness, said:

"Helen ­Mirren's victory in our Best Body poll illustrates how, when it comes to body maintenance and wellbeing, age really is nothing but a number."

Mirren hasn't said much about her fit bod, but the fact that she became a spokesperson for Wii Fit in Britain may shed some clues:
