'Hell On Wheels' Season 4 Spoilers: Watch Sneak Peek Video Of Episode 2; 'Escape From The Garden' Reveals New Feud

The fourth season of AMC’s “Hell on Wheels” premiered Saturday, Aug. 2, and AMC has released a sneak preview of the season’s second episode, “Escape from the Garden.” As the fourth season begins, tensions are rising in Cheyenne, Wyoming, as business and government face off at the important railroad hub.

AMC’s sneak preview video of episode 2 features an explosive conversation between railroad magnate “Doc” Durant (Colm Meaney) and John Campbell (Jake Weber), a government official sent by U.S. General Grant to establish law and order in the territory. Campbell raises the idea of levying taxes on Durant’s railroad empire in the territory, an idea Durant is none too pleased to hear.

Fans will have to tune in to next week’s episode to see how this confrontation will play out. A synopsis for “Escape from the Garden” was released revealing The Swede and Bohannon will face off as well next week over Bohannon’s desire to move his family away from Fort Smith.
