Kate Middleton seemed to enjoy her Christmas at the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England, this year, however, looks aren't always as they seem.

While fans of the Duchess fo Cambridge can confirm that she was pleasant and even engaged in conversations with the locals at the annual event, she was also facing a huge regret for the day -- her outfit.

According to Karen Anvil, the mother of 19-year-old fan Rachel, Kate was not so happy about her choice in donning a heavy grey Catherine Walker coat.

"Kate was talking to my daughter about clothes and how she was feeling too hot. She said, 'I really shouldn’t have worn this'," Anvil's mother told Metro. "I’m there talking to Charlotte about dolls and my daughter’s talking about fashion with Kate," she continued.

While Kate's may have been regretting her outfit choice for the day one thing it looks like she won't have to worry about is her 4-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte. The mother of three was praised for her "excellent mothering skills" after being spotted with her two oldest children during the royal family's Christmas Church service.

In particular, it was her interaction with Charlotte and showing her how to curtsy that garnered the extra attention from onlookers.

"No doubt she’s well-mannered due to Kate’s excellent mothering skills, she’s just so cute!" one Twitter user said.
